Hvar, the sunniest place in Croatia. Well I hope that wasn’t the reason Patricia & Kenny choose Hvar as their destination wedding location. Flying all the way from New York just to have rain on your big day… But that didn’t stop them from having a wedding of their dreams. Small and simple, having just their closest family members and best friends around them made this wedding full of joy despite the unwanted weather. While getting ready at the Amfora hotel I noticed the rain stoped and suggested that we do the first look and a small photo session around the hotel grounds. “Oh yeah, that would be great, let’s do it” they both said with a smile on their face without worrying about them potentially getting wet in the process. They didn’t care about the rain, they just enjoyed the moment, laughing all the way to the ceremony. All the guest arrived just before the downpour and pour Patricia needed to run into the church with the help of her friends not to get soaked. After the emotional ceremony the weather cleared so the party could be held as planed at the Bonj beach club. And what a party it was! I think that the pictures speak for themselves.
To any brides to be reading this, don’t stress out about the weather and just enjoy your day, believe me, a rainy day can be just as beautiful!
